420 On The Block

The Leeds-born DJ/producer who ascended with the original U.K. dubstep movement and gave it one of its first and most enduring anthems, a bolt of foul-mouthed rave lightening called "Cockney Thug" -- is here to tell you that music is not about labels and dance is no fad.

Dumpstaphunk stands out among New Orleans’ best as one of the funkiest bands to ever arise from the Crescent City. Born on the Jazz & Heritage Festival stage, and descended from Neville family bloodlines, these soldiers of funk ignite a deep, gritty groove that dares listeners not to move.

J Phlip of "Dirtybird Records"

Jessica is diehard, born with true grit and skills to pay the bills. Despite her success with the dirtybird gang, she's still out there in record stores on the regular... digging, uncovering precious gems and weaving them into her dynamic sets with panache.

Del the Funky Homosapien

Born in Oakland, California, he is the cousin of seminal west coast rapper Ice Cube, and began his career writing lyrics for Ice Cube's group, Da Lench Mob. In 1991, with the help of Ice Cube, Del released his first solo album, I Wish My Brother George Was Here, at the age of 18.

Don Carlos of "Black Uhuru"

Born and raised in the Jamaican district notoriously known as Waterhouse, Don Carlos started his singing career in 1973, as one of the original members of the roots vocal group Black Uhuru. Don played a prominent role in the recordings of the highly acclaimed Love Crisis for Prince Jammy in 1977.

Cut Chemist

Cut Chemist has been recording and performing for over twenty years.  He started dj’ing in 1984, at age 11 years old. In 1987 aged 14 Cut started recording with his friends including Chali 2na(Jurassic 5). Cut first became known as a founding member of both the rap groupJurassic 5 and the Grammy award winning Latin funk outfit, Ozomatli.

Invisibl Skratch Piklz

The members of the group were originally hip-hop DJs, who were among the pioneers of the turntablism movement in the 1990s; turntablists create musical pieces by mixing samples from records, and by using multiple turntables as instruments. The group started in 1989 as Shadow of the Prophet, with DJ Qbert, Mix Master Mike, and DJ Apollo, who left the group in 1993.

East coast hip-hop makes up the bulk of this mix from producer-DJ Lee Alan James aka Blockhead, all pulled from dusty, golden age rap records and a few choice indie cuts of the ‘00s — a couple of which were used prior to official release.

Magic Beans

The Magic Beans are band with a passion for music that is as infectious as their songs, both of which have gained them national notoriety in a short time. Much like the taste’s of modern music lovers, the band’s sound isn’t confined to one-genre.

Live Animals

Live Animals crafts a lush, future club sound that transcends boundaries and blends genres, fusing melody, harmony and powerful percussion to create pure sonic force.
